Estate planning, trust and probate attorney, Christopher J. Burns, presented “You Can’t Take ‘It’ With You – How You Can Leave ‘It’ Behind” on February 20, 2014 as part of the 2014 Planning Well Seminar Series. The presentation covered basic estate planning tools such as wills, trust agreements, health care directives, and powers of attorney as well as techniques used to manage estate and gift taxes, health care and financial management issues.

“Estate planning is important. For those with a loved one facing health or disability challenges, it is critical… A plan done 3 or 5 years ago may not be right for you or your family any longer. A plan done 10 or 20 years ago is rarely still the right plan. You simply need to ‘dust it off’ and review it,” said Burns.
