Attorneys Burns and Spencer Present Their Work

Henson Efron Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration attorney, Christopher J. Burns, and Family Law attorney Lisa T. Spencer recently presented “Estate Planning in Uncertain Times: Divorce, Death and Taxes” before both Minneapolis and St. Paul’s Estate Planning Council (Twin Cities Estate Planning Council) members as well as at AdvisorNet Financial, a financial advisory firm.

The presentation provided family law and estate planning considerations high net-worth individuals should contemplate during key life phases such as marriage and divorce. For example, Spencer talked about the value of antenuptial and cohabitation agreements at the start of a relationship while Burns talked about putting the pieces back together through effective estate planning if a couple were to divorce.
