Kathryn A. Graves Appointed to Board of Marriage and Family Therapy

June 16, 2014

Family law attorney Kathryn A. Graves was appointed a public member to the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy by Governor Mark Dayton on June 16, 2014 for a four year term.

The Board regulates the healthcare practice of marriage and family therapists by setting and enforcing licensure qualifications and competency standards. It is also responsible for investigating complaints of unethical practice and monitoring licensees under disciplinary orders. The Board is composed of seven members: four practicing marriage and family therapists, one member engaged in the professional teaching and research of marriage and family therapy, and two public members with no direct affiliation with the practice.
