William W. Cameron Named Volunteer of the Month by Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep

William W. Cameron, estate, trust and probate attorney, was named Volunteer of the Month in January for his work with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, a national non-profit organization that trains, educates, and mobilizes photographers to provide professional quality portraits to families facing the untimely death of an infant.

Heather Lombardo, the Area Coordinator who nominated Cameron for the honor, recalls her phone conversation with a nurse regarding Cameron’s service during Christmas Eve when a couple lost their 30-week old twins.  The nurse was “very touched by his presence.  Per the nurse, he was quiet, compassionate, yet barely noticeable, just a part of the moment.”

Cameron started his volunteer work with the organization in September 2013 and has acted as volunteer photographer for various community non-profit organizations in the past.
